As I continue to grow as a person and learn more about
Business strategy and logistics, I have found that having a mentor can be
extremely influential. For my personal entrepreneurship story, my brother
served as my mentor as we both engaged in a unique company that broadened our
mindset of how a single person can influence others. This organization is known
as LTD, who is in partnership with Amway Corporations. Their purpose is to
enable others to work in a multi-level
marketing program to sell health, beauty, and home care products. While Amway
and LTD are part of a larger, corporate type of community, there was a vibe of
independence and entrepreneurship that the people displayed that was really
interesting.
The main reason I wanted
to enroll in ENT3003 was to learn about the endless opportunities that
independent business people strive for. I also was curious to learn about the
ways in which entrepreneur’s function on a daily basis, and what structure
exits in this field. Entrepreneurship holds a sense of independence that not
all businesses have, and I felt that the mindset fits what I want for my life.
